Cost
- I quote for each cake individually. Every cake is different in terms of complexity and size (number of guests), but my cakes start from a very reasonable price. A quote is given without any obligation.
OrderingOnce a cake is agreed upon work will commence upon receipt of 33% (one third) of the total cost, the balance payable upon delivery/collection or before. This deposit is non-refundable. The cake will NOT be left without payment in full. WeddingsI design the cake with your colour scheme in mind.
You can view the near-completed cake prior to your wedding and any minor changes can be accommodated.
I offer an optional 'setup' service where I will deliver the cake to your venue and dress it with your flowers etc. There is a minimal charge to cover petrol expenses. Deliveries outwith a 30 mile radius of my home (East Lothian, Scotland) would incur a small hourly charge for my time.
I can supply any type of cake stand on a hire basis. Again, these costs are usually minimal.
Your cake need not be 'traditional' fruit cake; I can make a chocolate cake tier, or an entire cake of any flavour you prefer. A contemporary favourite is the 'cup cake' wedding cake, made either entirely of individual cup cakes or with a traditional top tier. A Special Event
I make novelty cakes for special birthdays and more traditional cakes for special occasions such as christenings or retirement parties. If you design a cake, I can make it.
